[Hannibal nods, looking away again, taking a breath and composing himself. He is very rarely so overcome with emotion, and he doesn't like it. Not at all. It's a weakness, a vulnerability. He had consumed his sister to forgive her for the way she made him feel, the love that was a chink in his well-crafted armor.
